Kilbarron is a melodic hardcore band from Prince George’s County, Maryland, formed in 2022 by guitarist Joey Nierva and vocalist Cameron Sumter. Built on raw emotion and relentless energy, Kilbarron set out to leave a lasting mark in their scene—crafting music that’s as heartfelt as it is hard-hitting. Their sound blends intensity with vulnerability, creating songs that resonate deeply and connect with listeners beyond the surface.
The band made their debut in 2022 with the single “P.S. We’re Still Cool,” immediately establishing their voice. In 2023, they followed up with their first EP, Smile and Move On, along with the standalone single “Hourglass.” They continued to build momentum with “Dream Eater,” leading into their second EP, Fragments of My Former Self in 2025—a release that showcased their growth both musically and emotionally.
Kilbarron kicked off 2026 with the release of their single “Evergreen,” marking their sixth official release since forming. With each release, the band continues to evolve while staying true to their core mission: writing powerful, emotionally driven music that hits hard and lingers long after the last note fades.
In April, Kilbarron followed up with their latest single, “Bloodlines,” the first of three songs set to be released this year. The track serves as a love letter to the fighting game community, channeling the intensity, rivalry, and legacy-driven spirit that inspired it.
