What's Left of Me 4:260:00/4:26
Kilbarron is a melodic hardcore band from Prince George’s County, Maryland, formed in 2022 by guitarist Joey Nierva and vocalist Cameron Sumter. What started as a shared vision between two musicians quickly grew into something bigger—a band driven by raw emotion, urgency, and the need to create music that feels real. From the beginning, Kilbarron set out to leave a lasting mark on their local scene by writing songs that are as heartfelt as they are hard-hitting.
Blending melodic intensity with unfiltered vulnerability, their sound captures the push and pull between aggression and reflection. Layered guitars, driving rhythms, and impassioned vocals come together to create music that resonates on a deeper level. Their lyrics explore themes of growth, regret, healing, and self-awareness—turning personal experiences into something listeners can see themselves in.
Kilbarron made their debut in 2022 with the single “P.S. We’re Still Cool,” immediately establishing their voice and emotional direction. In 2023, they followed up with their first EP, Smile and Move On, alongside the standalone single “Hourglass.” These releases expanded their sound while reinforcing their commitment to authenticity. Momentum continued with “Dream Eater,” paving the way for their second EP, Fragments of My Former Self in 2025—a project that showcased noticeable growth in songwriting, dynamics, and emotional depth.
In January 2026, Kilbarron released “Evergreen,” marking their sixth official release since forming. They followed it in April with “Bloodlines,” the first of three songs set to be released this year. Serving as part love letter to the fighting game community, the track channels themes of rivalry, legacy, and perseverance while expanding the band’s emotional and sonic range. With every new chapter, Kilbarron continues to evolve—refining their sound while staying grounded in their core mission: to create powerful, emotionally driven music that hits hard and lingers long after the last note fades.
Beyond the studio, Kilbarron is focused on building something meaningful. The band is actively working to grow their presence, play more shows, and connect with new audiences wherever they can. At the heart of their message is a commitment to spreading awareness around mental and emotional health—using their platform to encourage open conversations, self-reflection, and resilience. For Kilbarron, this is more than music; it’s about creating a space where people feel understood, supported, and less alone.
